Another way to get rid of flies is by killing their breeding ground. By
finding the place where they breed, you will be able to get hold of
flies and eliminate them from your house once and for all. Remember that
flies breed hundreds of eggs every day, and when each hatches and turns
into a maggot, and finally into a fly. Roam around your house and other
surroundings to see if there are maggots, as well as the possible places
where flies can breed eggs. Common breeding grounds are open trash cans,
dirty pet dishes, litter boxes filled with feces and food spills, dead
rodents and as well as dishes on the sink which are left unwashed.

Once you have found the potential breeding sites, then you should get
rid of them. Flies breed fast on any of their chosen places,
particularly on those that have rotting garbage. As much as possible
secure all food in the refrigerator and seal dirty diapers in plastic
before having them thrown out.
To kill the maggots, better sprinkle the maggots with diatomaceous earth
so they will be killed. |
